LRBR (Lakes Region Board of REALTORS) Monthly Meeting; Realtors meet once a month and recognize new members, report on various committees and host a guest speaker.
Greeter; Affiliate attends the assigned LRBR monthly meeting. Affiliate is stationed at the entrance and checks in the attending Realtors and/or sells raffle tickets. You may, but aren’t required, to bring a raffle item, ($25 to $40 value). During the meeting you’ll be asked to go up and be introduced, pull a ticket and present your item to the winner. You can promote your business with business cards, give aways and brochures on the tables(2 per table). You must pick up your items after the meeting. You can only sign up to greet at an Affiliate monthly meeting.
Core Course; Twice a year the LRBR hosts a half day training session. Affiliates are eligible to have a table at the entrance and greet everyone attending. Tables are usually decorated in expo fashion promoting your business. Affiliates can provide a raffle item valued around $50. to be raffled before the program begins. Once the realtor session starts tables are broken down, we can eat breakfast and we leave. You can only sign up and reserve a table at an Affiliate monthly meeting.
New Member Orientation; New realtors joining the LRBR attend a half day session. (The format is in your package) An affiliate lender and an “other” are given time to do a generic presentation on their part in the real estate process. At this orientation you are representing the Affiliates not your own company. No self promotion is allowed with the exception of introducing yourself and telling them where you work. You can also have a stack of your business cards in case someone requests one.
